Does the thought of spending a day walking at a theme park put a damper on your idea of a relaxing vacation? Epcot comes to the rescue with their new "Keep Moving Forward See the World Share the Dream"
Segway tour. This new tour replaces the original "Around the World on Segway" tour and officially opens September 17th.
Even if you have never ridden a Segway, Epcot
offers lessons along with their guided tour. The tour takes you by all 11 countries featured at Epcot. During the three-hour tour, you will have a guide who knows all about the behind-the-scenes details of Epcot.
The Keep Moving Forward Tour differs from the previous Around the World tour in that it will give guests more "storytelling" and in-depth information about the culture of each country. Disney will use what they call "whisper units" which allows guests to hear their guide from several feet away. If you have toured Washington DC, this is much like the technology used when touring the US Capitol building.
This new and improved tour also features breakfast at Sunshine Seasons
, a quick service restaurant located in The Land Pavilion, and a bonus for pin collectors, an exclusive Disney pin. A great way to start your day at Disney.
The Keep Moving Forward Segway tour will cost $99 per person and is for those 16 years and older. Disney provides helmets for all riders. Bonus for Disney Visa cardholders, you'll receive a 20% discount.
